“Feminism is the radical notion that women are people” (British suffragist Rebecca West)

I am a feminist. I am also the single mother of a toddler and a PhD student. Tensions arise between those three aspects of my life, and I usually turn to feminist theory to resolve them or learn to live with them.

This blog chronicles my adventures of parenting and life in general. Things I like or aspire to: attachment parenting – breastfeeding, co-sleeping, babywearing; baby-led weaning; Montessori; midwifery-led care; lactivism. Cake (there might be the occasional recipe).
